Your Guide
A Northern Ontario native, Yannick Loranger, owner of Ottawa River Guided Fishing developed a passion for fishing at a very young age. After moving to Rockland, he soon realized the angling potential of the Ottawa River. After years of learning the River through trial and error, he founded Ottawa River Guided Fishing in 2010. Since, he has guided thousands of anglers on the River. Yannick is particularly fond of walleye, pike, and musky but confidently guides for just about anything that swims in the river and has a particular appreciation for the combative, plentiful, and kid-friendly channel catfish.

Locations
Following the Fish
The Ottawa River is a complex and resilient body of water that is home to most of Ontario's warm water species of fish. Some sections of the River tend to be better for particular species and often we will launch nearest to the best fishing to allow for more fishing time and less travel time.
The launches we use are:
-Du Moulin Park in Rockland (100 Edwards St. in Rockland)
-Wendover Public Launch (3001, du Quai Avenue in Wendover)
- Treadwell Boat Launch (104, County Rd 9 in Plantagenet.
- Our Ice Bungalows are located at the end of Pigeon Street in Rockland.

What to Bring
We do our best to make your trip with us as close to all-inclusive as possible. In a nutshell, guests need to supply their lunch and fishing license. Make sure to dress for the weather. Items like sunscreen, sunglasses, cameras, and a small cooler to bring home your fillets are also a good idea. We have all the fishing gear you'll need but if you want to bring your own rod that's ok as long as it has braided line on it.
For our Ice Bungalow guests, your essentials are food, drink, fishing licenses, and sleeping bag and pillow. We encourage guests to bring as much ice fishing tackle and equipment as they can, but we have all that available on site as well.
